This coin was created as part of the US Mints 50 State Quarters Program and features a vintage sailboat sailing through Narragansett Bay and the famous Pell Bridge in the background. Rhode Island is known as the Ocean State, and this beautiful coin has been hand painted to create additional beauty and luster. The process is unique and time consuming. Each coin cuff link may take as long as two days to complete. The state quarter cufflink is created by hand painting each color individually and then using a heating process to bake the paint on. The coin cufflink is then completed with a special resin applied to the coin to give it durability and shine. This is the perfect gift to give for Father's Day or a birthday for a coin lover.
